While at the Crooks office John Lee of Theme Magazine and emeht agency said he was out of his meeting. We didn’t want to get stuck in LA during traffic so we met up for some coffee in Old Town Pasadena. I tend to appreciate conversations that last longer than the conversation itself…. I think in our conversation we almost came up with a solution for the common plastic bag.. No really..
I always appreciate my conversations with John..

Was on my way to the record store it dawned on me why I was feeling the way I was.. Like something was missing.. We’ll I figured it out.. I was missing food in my stomach.. I was starving.. I phoned up Pat from Oliver People/ Mosley Tribes and then headed over to grab a bite for lunch.. We ate at Joe’s Pizza (the same Joe’s that’s on Blecker-nyc).

After lunch we went back to the office and Pat showed me some of the concepts for the next campaign. Sheeze, sounds like FUN!!

On my way to the parking garage I had to stop by the Crooks office.. Emil and gang was holding it down while Dennis and Rob are putting the finishing touches on their new store in Hawaii. After catching up for a few and saying whats up to the crew he walked me through the new season..
And ah-hem, I think I’ma need a couple of dem holiday outerwear jackets.. Smile.

Dee Loc’s Kaws Piece..
This is Mr. Wallace, the quiet third member of The Hundreds. I don’t think he has majority share of the company but I can say he’s well taken care of.
And if there is ever a time when Ben and Bobby can’t come to an agreement as to what project to tackle next..
I think Mr. Wallace comes in for the tie breaking decision. I kid, I kid, he’s really not the third member of The Hundreds nor is he a share holder, but I do gather he’s well taken care of… Mr. Wallace.

Joe Hahn of Linkin Park played his new album A Thousand Suns for us.. They got some heavy bangers in there..

One of the things I like about Hawaii is that getting something for a good deal is sorta always ‘trending’. It’s like local knowledge, you gotta know where they have the tastiest, biggest and best plate lunches on any side of the island. One trend that has been around since I can remember are these ‘Locals’ slippas.. These aren’t your average $30 over priced Havaianas, these are your average $3.29 Locals sold at any Longs Drugs in Hawaii.
Also, because they were only $3.29 if someone walks off with your slippas, ain’t no thang. They were only $3.29.

When the temperature starts to rise, best thing to do is find one of these.
Keep it cool, by the pool.

Sunny LA weekend breakfast with brother man Josh Madden and Claudine.

I’ve had these Chucks forever and as of recently I’ve been wearing the heck out of them again.. I’ve only just noticed the Made in the USA hit inside the shoe..
It put a smile on my face..
I wish they still made them here….

Homie Loc Christian hooked me up with this 1 of 1 Santa Monica Airlines New Era hat. Had to throw on a Dee and Ricky cigarette piece.
I haven’t been rock’n fitted hats lately, but you never know, could be the undercover Sunday morning coffee express look.

Good Morning or Good Night

Posted up at the Lydmar Hotel during our stay in Stockholm..
Art hung everywhere as well as art books laying about everywhere… I really appreciated the open layout and the use of non private spaces in the dinning area. The bar was treated somewhat like a library. Perfect if you ever need a night cap.. Shout out to Carl and the wonderful staff at Lydmar.

This tattoo story starts off with a afternoon shopping with buddy Joel Madden, and then some alone time at Central Park.
After my alone time in snowy Central Park I went and got ready for some fashion and night time antics, I can’t get into tooo much detail, but the day went a little something like.. shopping, photos in central park, fashion show, presentation, hard core punk band, yummy food (lobster, pork belly, cooked cheese, apple pie, mad drinks), celebs, suv, body gaurds, penthouse. Somewhere amongst the drinks and food, I heard my name Peter-Lee from Claudine and she busted an official Chanel envelope with all kinds of temporary Chanel tattoos.. I instantly turned into a little kid and got all excited about picking one.. (Dear buddies that are mad inked…I mean no disrespect to y’all)Â Thanks Claudine..
Mad props to my bruva Josh for having the Official-Official CC.

Buddy Jeremiah Griffiths gets into town as I am doing my last minute rounds… We caught up at our other buddy Morgan’s Surf shop Saturdays and had caught up for a bit over a cup of coffee. Really nice catching up.. Excited for you my man..
If your in the SoHo area, and want to check out directional surf shop.. Check’em out..

“The Confidence of bankers and venture capitalists has been shattered, at least for a while, and it will take time for them to recover from the financial turmoil of the past couple of years.
Steven J. Davis, Wall Street Journal, Jan 4, 2010
Well, we have to end apartheid for one. And slow down the nuclear arms race, stop terrorism and world hunger. We have to provide food and shelter for the homeless, and oppose racial discrimination and promote civil rights, while also promoting equal rights for women. We have to encourage a return to traditional moral values. Most importantly, we have to promote general social concern and less materialism in young people.
Patrick Bateman, American Psycho”

The Show before the show.

Catch up dinner with Tamara and Joanne. (On our way for a catch up drink.)

Sky and I rolled up to Chole to meet up with Laura and Anna… We grabbed a few drinks and drove around in the G-Wagon and before calling it a night we were on the hunt for the perfect slice… Sky turned me on to one of the best late night slice spots I have been to yet.. Artichoke Pizza.
The Artichoke pizza is no joke.. (It could be renamed Artery-Choke Pizza…) Got DAMMM that shit was good..
